Speeding and inconsiderate use of vehicles has been set by residents as a priority issue within Bowerdean & Totteridge. Untaxed and abandoned vehicles have also been highlighted to the NAG as an area of concern. The NAG continues to work on this priority and we invite any information about where and when current ‘trouble spots’ are, details about the specific problem(s) and which vehicles and drivers are responsible. The NAG will then work alongside its partners such at Thames Valley Police, Wycombe District and Bucks County Council and target other organisations such as the DVLA to resolve the issue.SEE THE BELOW SECTION FOR A PROGRESS UPDATE.
Who still needs to be targeted? What vehicle(s) are they using? When & where should the Police look for them....?

The concern of many is the continual parking on the corner at the top pf Hillllary Road, junction of Everest Road, every day cars going in either direction have to reverse to allow the other car/lorry to continue, as drivers cannot see what is approaching them until they appear, blocking the road, the answer is long overdue, double yellow lines, on this corner.
One resident of Windsor Drive has stated that vehicles with excessively loud exhausts, travelling at speed along Arnison Avenue and Amersham Road are causing a noise nuisance to the Windsor Drive flats, despite the flats being some distance from the road.
Which cars specifically are causing problems...reg. numbers, colour, make and model? These can then be passed to the Police for action.
In my last Blog I drew attention to the parking of cars on the blind bend at the junction of Everest Road, Hillary Road junction and as lorries and cars often meet on the bend and one of the vehicles has to reverse, this happens every day and is worse at weekend, I would like to draw attention to this fact, one of the owners of the offending cars has a "For Sale" on one of them and has done so for several months,
Further to my two pevious blogs,today26th September at the junction of Everest Road/Hillary Road, parked cars, one Mercedes with a "For Sale "sign on, and a phone number, caused a motorists coming up the hill to reverse all the way back down to level with Hunt Road, because a car came in at the top and blocked him up. when are the double yellow lines going to be painted here, it is causing chaos every day,
Windrush Drive, Highworth Close and Hollis Road are also junctions where visibility is poor due to inconsiderate parking, especially at school times. Buses have a job getting through and at Hollis Road so do carers and Health workers. Cars are often parked on the footpaths.
